GUWAHATI: Assam health and finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday inaugurated special pediatrics unit–Bagri Children Covid Care Centre at Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati.
The COVID-19 care centre specially for the children has the capacity of 55 beds.
“I compliment medical team for having prepared this 55-bed unit diligently,” tweeted Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Minister of state for health and family welfare Pijush Hazarika was also present during the inauguration.
