GUWAHATI: Kamrup (Metro) district administration has withdrawn the containment zone orders from four locations of Guwahati. As no further case has been detected since the declaration of containment zone in the declared areas, the containment zone tags have been removed from Kumarpara, Fatasil GS Colony, Santipur (Pubali Path) and Panbazar Railway Colony of the city.
Kamrup (Metro) deputy commissioner notified the withdrawal through separate orders on Thursday. However residents of the areas have been asked to follow all the protocols for preventing COVID-19 pandemic.
These areas were declared as containment zones after the detection of COVID-19 positive cases among some residents.
