GUWAHATI: Assam Police has seized an ambulance which was used to sell vegetables illegally amid total lockdown in Guwahati. The ambulance was seized in Dispur area of the city.
“Around 4-5 persons were involved. They fled from the scene leaving the ambulance. It is a private ambulance. We have already got the names of the driver and the owner. We will catch all of them for involving in this type of illegal activity,” said a top police official.
He stated that vegetables and chicken have been found inside the ambulance.
“We will take strict action against the persons involved,” he added.
