Guwahati: In a major development, Guwahati police on on Wednesday night arrested three people in connection with Anu Hazarika murder case.
The arrested persons, identified as Meenar Ali and Bahrul Islam, were caught from Bongaigaon’s Bidyapur.
Earlier, another person was arrested by the police in connection to the case.
On Monday morning, a 60-year-old woman, identified as Anu Hazarika, was found dead with her hands, legs and mouth tied inside her flat under mysterious circumstances in Guwahati’s Kalapahar.
The miscreants also broke all the furniture inside the house along with the CCTV cameras.
The woman used to live alone in her apartment at Tara Hira complex for the last five years. The deceased was also the owner of the Tara Hira building complex located in Kalapahar area of the city.
