GUWAHATI: Former Assam public works deparment (PWD) minister Ajanta Neog has been expelled from Congress party for “anti-party activities”. She was earlier axed as president of Golaghat District Congress Committee amid reports of her planning to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Ajanta Neog is tipped to join the BJP in the next couple of days.
