GUWAHATI: Flash floods have been reported in several parts of Guwahati after heavy rains lashed the city on Tuesday night. Citizens have endured a tough time due to the water-logging caused by the continuous sprinkle.
Commuters have been stuck amid knee-high water-logging in several parts of Guwahati.
On the other hand, flood waters also entered many houses and residential campuses of the city.
“I have been stuck here at ABC point for more than one hour. Due to the lackadaisical attitude of the concerned authorities and lack of civic senses of some citizens, Guwahati is having such harrowing experiences every year,” said a media worker as he waded through the floodwater at midnight.
