GUWAHATI: An FIR has been lodged against Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Ripun Bora for his alleged involvement in the financial anomalies to provide party tickets in the last Panchayat elections.
A man from Sipajhar filed the case against Darrang District Pradesh Congress Committee president Wahida Rahman and APCC president Ripun Bora alleging financial anomalies in providing candidature in the panchayat elections.
Following that, a case has been registered at Sipajhar Police Station under Darrang district.
