Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated to commemorate the willingness of Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim to sacrifice his only son in obedience of the Almighty’s command.

Meanwhile, President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Assam Finance and Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma greeted the people on Eid-ul-Azha.
