EARTHQUAKE OF 4.1 MAGNITUDE HITS ASSAM

Guwahati: An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter scale hit Assam on Sunday afternoon around 2:23 PM. 

The epicentre of the earthquake was Singi Mari Gaon, 40 km west of Tezpur.

No loss of lives or property has been reported.
