GUWAHATI: An earthquake hit parts of Assam at 5.53 PM on Sunday.
Tremors were also felt in the city of Guwahati and adjoining areas.
According to the latest reports, the earthquake was measured 4.1 on the Richter Scale and was epicentered 25 kms west-southwest of Tezpur town.
