GUWAHATI: Kamrup (Metropolitan) district administration is making necessary arrangements to reopen the schools in Guwahati from the first week of September.
In first phase, classes of nine and ten will take place. While classes for nine will be held in two days of the week, classes for ten will be held in the remaining days.
The school teachers and students have been asked to get COVID-19 negative certificates to attend the classes. The parents are also asked to get themselves test for COVID-19.
COVID-19 tests for students and parents will take place tomorrow at Kaliram Baruah Girls’ High School in the city. The tests for school teachers and other staff will be conducted on August 23 and 24.
