Guwahati: Sushant Singh Rajput is back on screen one last time as Dil Bechara trailer came out on Monday. The experience was always going to be poignant, more so given the theme of the Mukesh Chhabra’s film. The official remake of Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort’s The Fault In Our Stars, Dil Bechara casts Sushant and debutante Sanjana Sanghi as two youngsters battling cancer with a stoic aplomb.
The film also stars Sanjana Sanghi, Saif Ali Khan and Swastika Mukherjee in pivotal roles.
On June 25, Disney Plus Hotstar announced that Dil Bechara would be released digitally. It also shared that the movie will be available for subscribers as well as non-subscribers of the streaming platform.
Director Mukesh Chhabra wrote, “Finally after such a long wait, 2 years of my life. So many friendships close to my heart,so many ups and downs, happy and sad moments. Presenting to you our dream and the dream of my brother Sushant, who will live on in me till my last breath. The trailer of my debut film #DilBechara. Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide at his residence in Mumbai on June 14. His demise has left a deep dent in his family and close friends and his fans hearts.
