Guwahati: Deepika Padukone, who forayed into Hollywood with ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’, has announced her new international project. The Bollywood diva will play the lead role in a new cross-cultural romantic comedy. Guess what? Deepika is co-producing the upcoming film with STXFilms under her home banner KA Productions. Yes, you read that right!
The ‘Piku’ star shared a screenshot of a story, which was carried by Deadline, about her romantic comedy. She also issued a statement to express her excitement over teaming up with STXFilms for the project.
“Ka Productions was founded with the aim to develop and produce purposeful content with global appeal. I’m thrilled to be partnering with STXFilms and Temple Hill Productions, who share Ka’s ambition and creative vision and look forward to bringing impactful and dynamic cross-cultural stories to the world,” Padukone said in her statement, as quoted as saying by ANI.
