GUWAHATI: As India goes through an extended lockdown, popular Bollywood and Assamese singer Angarag Mahanta , better known as Papon released his new single ‘Paar Hobo ei Xomoi’.
Written in Assamese, the new soulful single Paar hobo ei Xomoi (This time, too, shall pass) is about holding on hope and faith even when people all over the world are battling the Coronavirus pandemic.
Papon released the song on his YouTube channel on Wednesday and it has already garnered over 13,000 views till now.
The entire song has been created, performed and shot solely by the singer himself.
A few days ago, Papon also released a self-made video of old songs during this lockdown period to cheer his fans and followers.
