GUWAHATI: Fifty samples from the primary contact of Meghalaya’s first COVID19 patient tested negative at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Guwahati. The information has been shared by Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma on Twitter.

Meghalaya detected its first COVID19 positive case on April 13.The first COVID19 patient of the state, a senior doctor at Bethany Hospital in Shillong died at 2.45 AM on Monday. Six other persons who came into contact with him including his family members also tested positive for COVID19.
