GUWAHATI: In view of rising COVID-19 cases particularly among the people coming from other states, testing has been intensified at Guwahati Railway Station.
The authorities have made all the necessary arrangements to scan and test every incoming passenger.
According to reports, from 6 AM on Monday to 6 AM on Tuesday, 570 passengers were tested. Among them 32 passengers were found COVID-19 positive.
“We are testing all the passengers. However for the last two days, the number of passengers is decreasing,” said an official.
