COVID-19: Number of Assam’s recovered patients rises to 284

GUWAHATI: The number of discharged COVID-19 patients has increased to 284. On Monday a total of 99 COVID-19 patients were discharged from different hospitals of the State. The patients were discharged after they had tested negative twice for COVID-19.

While 8 patients were discharged from Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH), 46 recovered people are from Kalapahar hospital in Guwahati, 22 from Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH), 13 from Tezpur Medical College and Hospital (TMC), 7 from Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH), 2 from Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed College and Hospital (FAAMCH) at Barpeta, and one is from Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) at Dibrugarh.

Assam has reported a total of 1485 COVID-19 cases so far. Currently there are 1194 active patients in the State.
