GUWAHATI: Cotton University in Guwahati, which is a participating institution of the SEBA online portal, has been inviting application for admission to Higher Secondary 1st year classes of both Science and Arts streams. The university has been receiving applications from students who have passed the HSLC examination under SEBA through this portal via the link http://anneswan.sebaonline.org/. The last date for application through this portal is 15 July. All HSLC passed students under SEBA who wish to get admitted to HS classes in Cotton University are encouraged to use the above portal for submitting their applications.
The University will also soon open its own application portal for Higher Secondary admission which will be made accessible through the Cotton University website https://cottonuniversity.ac.in. Students who have passed their qualifying Class 10 equivalent examination from CBSE or any Board other than SEBA will have to apply through this application portal.
The admission process will be made fully online as directed by the state Government. For admission, the students have to first generate the Unique Id in the portal of the Office of the Director, Higher Education, Assam. As per DHE’s order dated 4/7/2020, generating the Unique Id by students is compulsory for online admission.
