GUWAHATI: Amid growing Coronavirus fears, the Maa Kamakhya Devalaya followed suit to stop the spread of Coronavirus disease. The temple administration has decided to distribute Hand Sanitizers for all the devotees who visit the temple.
“The Temple administration from today has taken this step for devotees to maintain hygiene at the temple premises, and also as a preventive measure to stop the spread of the Coronavirus disease,” said a worker of Maa Kamakhya Devalaya.
“A lot of people are visiting including tourists,” said another worker of the Maa Kamakhya Devalaya.
It is to be mentioned that the Coronavirus outbreak has caused widespread infections and deaths all around the world. In India, a total of 110 cases of Coronavirus disease (including 17 foreign nationals — Italians) have been confirmed.
