GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal and finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma launched the construction work for Assam Movement Martyrs’ Memorial Swahid Smarak and Swahid Udyan at Boragaon in Guwahati on the occasion of ‘Swahid Divas’.
A book titled ‘Asom Andolanar Tathyakosh’ was also released on the occasion.
Assam State BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass, ministers Atul Bora, Chandra Mohan Patowary, Keshab Mahanta, Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Lok Sabha MP Queen Oja and several other dignitaries were also present at the event.
