GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Friday reviewed COVID-19 situation and flood relief measures in Sivasagar district. He held a meeting with senior officials of the district.
The chief minister directed the officials concerned to provide all necessary help to the flood-affected people and take steps to prevent electrocution in this rainy season.
CM Sonowal also took stock of the situation at Assam-Nagaland border and directed to ensure the security of the local residents.
He was accompanied by Lok Sabha MP Topon Kumar Gogoi and local legislators.
