CM Sonowal ianugurates newly constructed buildings of 2 police stations in Majuli


GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday inaugurated newly constructed buildings of two police stations in Majuli, the first river island district of India.

Sonowal inaugurated the buildings of Jengraimukh and South Majuli police stations. The buildings have been constructed under Mission of Overall Improvement of Thana for Responsive Image (MOITRI).

Earlier in the day, the chief minister launched a speed boat of Assam Police to strengthen the patrolling capacity in the island.
