Dibrugarh: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated the state’s first CNG station on Saturday at Chowkidinghee, Dibrugarh.

The station has been installed by the Assam Gas Company. After Tripura, Assam has become the second state in northeast to get a CNG filling station.
The inaugural program was also attended by Rameswar Teli, Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries, Chandra Mohan Patowary, Minister of Industries, Commerce & Transport, Bolin Chetia, Chairman, Assam Gas Co Ltd, Ashok Kr Bhattarai, Chairman, ASTC, Indra Gogoi, Vice-Chairman, Assam Gas Co Ltd.
