Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday extended wishes to the people of Assam on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr and urged the people to stay at home and spend time with their families.
Taking to his Twitter CM Sarma wrote, “My heartiest greetings & gratitude to all on the auspicious #EidAlFitr Amid rise in #COVID19 cases, I request everyone to Stay Home Stay Safe & spend lovely time with your families #EidMubarak #Eid”.

People offered namaz at their home on the occasion of Eid ul-Fitr in the national capital on Friday as masjids remained closed due to the COVID-19 induced lockdown.
