BSF helps locals in dousing fire in Cooch Behar


GUWAHATI: Troops of Guwahati frontier of Border Security Force (BSF) are not only protecting the international borders but also assisting the people living in the bordering areas. The BSF personnel of Guwahati frontier doused a devastating fire which broke out in Seoti-I village of Cooch Behar in West Bengal on Sunday.

“The Border Out Post Commander quickly responded and rushed to the spot with all available Jawans at BOP Bhanathpur, fire-fighting equipment’s & water tanker and provided help to the villagers and doused the fire,” stated public relations officer of BSF Guwahati frontier in a press release.

The local people appreciated the efforts and responsibilities shown by the BSF.
