GUWAHATI: Two more persons have tested COVID19 positive in Meghalaya. With this the total number of COVID19 patients in the state has reached 10. Meghalaya was untouched by Coronavirus till April 13 when a senior doctor of Bethamy Hospital in Shillong tested positive. The first patient died on Wednesday.
According to Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma, the two new cases detected today are a family member and a helper of the first patient.
“Two more positive cases detected taking the total to 10 active cases in the State. Both cases are from the house of the first patient one is family and other a helper in the house,” tweeted CM Conrad Sangma.
