GUWAHATI: One more person from western Assam’s Dhubri district has tested COVID19 positive. The person is too connected with the Tablighi Jamaat at Nizamuddin Markaz. With this the total number of COVID19 patients in Assam reached 30. Among them 3 are from Dhubri district. The trio from Dubri are connected to Tablighi Jamaat.
Taking to Twitter, Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Alert ~ Another person from Dhubri, connected with #TablighiJamaat meet at #NizamuddinMarkaz, has been found #COVID19 positive. The total number of #Covid patients in #Assam now stands at 30.”
