GUWAHATI: Another COVID-19 patient has been discharged from Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati taking the total number of recovered patients in Assam to 39. The patient was discharged from the hospital after testing negative successively. Among the total reported cases in Assam, currently there are 22 active cases in the state. On the other hand, the state has recorded 2 COVID-19 deaths.
Taking to Twitter, Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma shared, “Glad that one #COVID19 patient, after testing negative successively, has been discharged from MMCH today taking the total recovered patients to 39.
