GUWAHATI: One more person from Bilasipara in Western Assam’s Dhubri district tested COVID-19 positive on Thursday. The man came into contact with another patient who was an attendee of Athgaon Kabristan Masjid congregation in Guwahati that took place in March. With this new case, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam has reached 35.
“A man from Bilasipara, Dhubri has tested #COVID positive. He has a history of being in touch with another patient, who was part of Athgaon Majid congregation in Guwahati. The number of patients is now 35,” tweeted Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
