GUWAHATI: Assam on Wednesday recorded 2,243 fresh COVID-19 cases. The new cases took the tally to 1,33,066.
Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote on Twitter, “2243 #COVID cases detected today out of 31562 tests done in last 24 hours Positivity Rate- 7.10% Kamrup M- 641; Dibrugarh- 170; Jorhat- 140; Lakhimpur- 106”
On the other hand, 18 more COVID-19 patients have succumbed to the disease. Health minister Sarma has expressed his condolences to all the families of the victims.
