GUWAHATI: Six more people have tested positive for COVID-19, announced Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma during a press meet in Guwahati. Among these new cases, there is a person from Guwahati related to fancy Bazaar potato godown case. With these new cases, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam has reached 358.
All the patients except one are in the quarantine. Earlier Dr. Sarma mentioned that 90 per cent of the COVID-19 patients in Assam are from quarantine centres.
