GUWAHATI: Assam has recorded 1,560 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday. Total 23,40 tests were conducted in the state in 24 hours. The positivity rate stands at 6.55 per cent.
With the addition of new cases, the total number reached 89,468.
On the other hand, seven persons succumbed to the COVID-19 infection on Saturday.

On the other hand, 2,045 patients were discharged on Saturday after their recovery from the infection.
