GUWAHATI: Assam state BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass said that his party would never allow to construct Miya Museum at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra as proposed by Congress MLA Sherman Ali Ahmed.
Addressing a presser in Guwahati, Ranjeet Kumar Dass expressed his fierce opposition against the controversial proposition.
“We will not allow construction of Char-Chapori museum at Sankardeva Kalakshetra. BJP will never allow this. Char and Chapori are two different concepts. The Assam Government will definitely work for the people in Chaparis,” Dass said.
He also termed Congress and AIUDF as two sides of the same coin.
“Congress and AIUDF are two sides of the same coin. They have communalised the issue to get votes,” he alleged.
