GUWAHATI: Baijayant Panda, the newly-appointed in-charge of Assam state BJP visited Kamakhya Devalaya in Guwahati on Thursday morning.
Panda who reached Guwahati on Wednesday prayed at the famous Saktipeeth atop the Nilachal Hills.
“Was greatly fortunate to get my first darshan at the historic & deeply revered Maa Kamakhshya Devi temple in Guwahati earlier this morning, which only reopened to the public yesterday after months of pandemic related restrictions. Jai Maa Kamakhshya,” he tweeted.
