GUWAHATI: Audition for artistes in the upcoming Assamese film ‘Rajkumari’ began from today in Guwahati.
Actress-turned-director Prastuti Porasor is seeking to give opportunities to new faces in her directorial debut.
The audition which took place at Maa Studio in Guwahati was attended by around one thousand candidates from nook and corner of the state.
“From three year old baby to adults have come for the audition. It reflects their faith in us,” said Prastuti Porasor.
On the other hand, dramatist Abhijit Bhattacharjya told News Live that candidates with acting talent will also get chance to work in mobile theatre.
The film has been produced by Hiramoni Production. Popular singers Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan and Zubeen Garg will render their voices to the songs of the upcoming movie.
