The popular cooking reality show MasterChef India 7 has been a thrilling season so far and Nayanjyoti Saikia and Santa Sharma from Assam have made it to the top 3 of the show.
The final episode of MasterChef India 7 will air on March 31, and viewers are anxiously anticipating it to find out who will be declared the winner.
From delectable deserts to spectacular-looking spicy dishes, Assam’s Nayan and Santa have played their parts well, winning the hearts of the judges’ as well as the viewers who got to learn many important tidbits about cooking while the show was being aired.
34-year-old Santa Sharma is a homemaker from Tezpur and presently resides in Nagaon.
Santa started cooking at the age of eight and prepared three types of sushi for the judges. Her first episode was broadcasted on January 4.
26-year-old Nayanjyoti Saikia from Tinsukia works in a tea garden with his father and enjoys cooking. Judge Vikas Khanna apparently discovered him through his Instagram page.
In the promo, chef Vikas Khanna travels thousands of kilometres to find an Assamese home cook and brings him on the show as a participant.
According to the promo, Khanna found him through his Instagram page. The Michelin star paid him a visit at home and sampled the youngster’s culinary creation.
It needs mention here that Nayanjyoti Saikia, 26, of Tinsukia, works in a tea garden with his father and enjoys cooking. He has a social media page where he displays his artwork. In the first episode, he made a dessert.
Despite coming from modest backgrounds, Nayan and Santa have made the Assamese people proud with their culinary prowess and almost flawless table setting. According to recent rumours in the audience, the two contestants who are among the three finalists, Suvarna Bagul or Santa Sharma, may be ousted from the race.
Although, there have been rumours and pics going viral showing Nayan winning the MasterChef title, its only on March 31 that one will get to know who will win the coveted crown.
Till then, viewers will get to see more nail-biting challenges in the MasterChef kitchen as the finalists will sweat it out to win the trophy.
