GUWAHATI: The COVID-19 count in Assam is galloping day by day. On Tuesday 134 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the State. At present the number of COVID-19 positive cases in Assam is 682 with 613 active cases. The State has reported 4 deaths so far. On the other hand, 62 people have been discharged and 3 migrated to other States.
Among the latest 16 cases reported at 11.55 PM, 6 cases are from Hojai, 6 from Golaghat, 2 from Darrang and one each is from Kamrup (Metro) and Kamrup.
?Alert ~ 16 new cases of #COVID19+ reported.

Golaghat district reported 54 COVID-19 positive cases in single day. On the other hand, 25 persons were found positive in Kamrup (Metro) on Tuesday.
According to reports all of them were returnees from other States and were under quarantine.
