PUBLISHED:

Guwahati: Two women have gone missing from Guwahati. The two women identified as Saraswati Das and Rumi Deka have been missing from their homes in Kharguli and Uzan Bazar since Tuesday.

The families of both the women have informed of their absence while a formal police case is yet to register in this regard.

Noteworthy here is that Saraswati Das had informed her family that she is going to Dibrugarh with her friend.

However, now that there is no news of both the women, their families are worried.

Their families have claimed they had no idea where they went.

They said that the issue came to their notice only after the media persons told them.

The news is causing sensation because as per reports, both the women have gone ahead and joined the United Liberation Front of Assam or ULFA-Independent (ULFA-I) militant outfit.

However, there is no concrete evidence of this news and the family members are also clueless about disappearance of the two young women.
