Guwahati: After successful drives against city buses in Guwahati, Assam’s transport department is to carry out a drive against cabs operating in Guwahati with three-state permits.
Anyone violating the rules will have to pay a fine of Rs. 10,000.
The cars with three-state permit will not be able to operate under any application based services in Guwahati.
Meanwhile, transport department suspended Rapido service in Guwahati for allegedly running its service without any permission.
