GUWAHATI: With the discharge of 2,476 more COVID-19 patients on Friday, the number of total recovered patients in Assam reached 65,596. So far, 87,908 cases reported in Assam. There are 22,082 active cases in the state.
“For the third consecutive day, we have more than 2K discharges. Absolutely brilliant job by medical team,” tweeted health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday.

On the other hand, 1,856 fresh COVID-19 cases were recorded in the state on Friday.
