Guwahat: Assam Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday inaugurated a state-of-the-art Cath Lab at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital along with Pijush Hazarika, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare and IAS Officer Samir K Sinha.
Dr. Sarma shared the news through his official Twitter handle and expressed his happiness on the inauguration of state-of-the-art Cath Lab at the GMCH department of Cardiology.
GMCH has set up a state-of-art Cath Lab in its Dept of Cardiology. It shall further strengthen diagnosis system for cardiac patients.

Dr. Sarma also stated that this Cath Lab will further strengthen the diagnosis system for cardiac patients of the state.
Earlier, in the evening Dr. Sarma also inaugurated a special ICU ward for the COVID-19 patients at GMCH itself.
