Guwahati: The health and family welfare department of Assam has extended the timings for the restaurants during the festive season. The announcement was made through an official notification issued on Thursday(October 22).
Earlier, the restaurants were allowed to remain open till 09:00 PM. In the revised guidelines, the restaurants can remain open till 10:30 PM.
The government has also issued various guidelines to be followed during the celebrations and appealed the citizens of the state to follow the COVID-19 protocols.
