he police seized several packets weighing 4,728 kg of ganja from a truck in Assam’s Karimganj district on Monday, the official said.
The ganja was hidden under sheets of natural rubber in a truck coming from a neighboring state, officially added.

In another incident, on Monday, Police apprehended two teenage boys and recovered 29.2 kg ganja from their possession in Guwahati’s Forest Gate Tiniali.
According to sources, the teenage boys brought the ganja consignment from Jorabat and they were supposed to deliver it at Khanapara in Guwahati.
