Guwahati: Bringing a ray of hope amid COVID-19 pandemic, 67 recovered Assam police personnel donated their plasma on Saturday.
Assam Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma appreciated all the 67 recovered police personnel for their contribution in the fight against the deadly disease while attending an event organised by the Assam Police at Gauhati Medical and College and Hospital.
The event was also attended by Minister of State Pijush Hazarika, Director General Of Police, Assam, Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta and other officials.
Taking to his twitter Dr. Sarma said,” The Khaki stands for sacrifice & compassion! True to the spirit, 67 recovered police personnel came forwards to donate their #plasma. So very proud to have felicitated them in presence of @Pijush_hazarika @DGPAssamPolice, Pr Secy @samirsinha69 & other officials.”
