Guwahati: Assam Police on Friday condoled the death of one its Police personnel who died due to COVID-19 pandemic at IITG COVID care centre.
The deceased has been identified as Hav. Hareswar Nath, 16 IRBn, who was tested positive for Coronavirus on July 7.
53-year-old Hareswar Nath, 53 years old was a non-symptomatic patient with no co morbidities and later succumbed to COVID 19 at IITG COVID care centre. His oxygen levels plummeted to 90 within hours and hence he collapsed.
Assam Police took to their twitter to express their condolence stating, “With a heavy heart, we are saddened to inform that Hav. Hareswar Nath, 16 IRBn, who tested positive for #CoronaVirus on July 7, 2020 passed away today. Our deepest condolences are with the bereaved family and colleagues.”
