In yet another incident, the sleuths of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Assam on Wednesday arrested a Lat Mandal in Sivasagar.
The Lat Mandal has been identified as Diganta Baruah posted at the Office of the Nazira Revenue Circle, Sivasagar.
Baruah was caught red-handed while accepting demanded money from the complainant for issuing a trace map & land holding number certificate.
Taking to Twitter the official Twitter handle of Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Assam wrote, “2nd trap of the day!@DIR_VAC_ASSAM trapped red handed Diganta Baruah, Lot Mandal of Nazira Revenue Circle, Sivasagar immediately after he accepted bribe from the complainant for issuing trace map & land holding number certificate@CMOfficeAssam @assampolice @surendrakr_ips“.
