GUWAHATI: Income Tax Department raided the residence of Assam’s leading coal trader Pankaj Choudhury’s residence at Margherita in Tinsukia district. The raid started on Friday morning and lasted till Saturday wee hours.
The Income Tax Department has not revealed yet anything about the seizure during the raid.
On the other hand, the family members of the coal trader are also tight-lipped.
The IT raid has created sensation in the Margherita area.
