GUWAHATI: The Assam government will take decisions on COVID-19 induced curfew, ban on inter-district travel on June 7, said health minister Keshab Mahanta at a press meet in Guwahati on Friday.
Mahanta said state has seen significant improvements in COVID-19 scenario in the last few days.
“COVID-19 infection is decreasing. Comparatively, death rate is also coming down. Because of people’s cooperation, COVID-19 infection has come down. We have not reviewed the restrictions today. We will take the decisions on June 7 considering the situation,” Mahanta said.
