Assam: Govt offices likely to open from April 16


GUWAHATI: Government offices in Assam are likely to resume functioning from April 16. Though the nationwide lockdown may extend for at least two weeks, the offices under the Government of Assam will have to carry out their regular functioning on a roster system.

As per reports, first and second grade officers or officers from joint secretary level will be attending their workplaces regularly. However, rotational system will be applied for third and fourth grade employees. One third employees of third and fourth grade employees will work according to the roster decided by the head of the concerned office.

The offices will function with skeletal staff and social distancing will be strictly maintained.
