Assam Governor inaugurates secretariat and digital library at Raj Bhavan

Guwahati, Dec 20: Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi inaugurated the Governor’s secretariat and digital library at Raj Bhavan on Thursday.

The Governor’s secretariat and digital library have been constructed with a total cost of Rs 2.05 crore by the Public Works Department of the government of Assam.

Along With Governor Mukhi, his wife Prem Mukhi, chief secretary of the state Alok Kumar, commissioner and secretary to the governor Sanjib Kumar Gohain Baruah, deputy commissioner of Kamrup (M) district Biswajit Pegu, Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department (B) attended the inaugural function.

It’s worth mentioning that Governor Jagdish Mukhi laid the foundation stone for the new building on September 14 last year.
